Sunday 14th November - Weather turning cold!

Managed to get out again today!
There was a definate drop in temperature today 2-3 degrees C and still quite windy - so felt colder.
Met Dave at 2.00pm ish.
Did the same ish run as yesterdays 10 miler.
I was sure that I would have found this 'hilly' course pretty hard work today after yesterdays run.
Very surprisingly, I didn't and actually felt pretty strong.
Ran the hills hard, and managed them well.
Added in extra bits - the dissused quarry - you could tell it had been raining hard from the amount of waterfalls cascading into the quarry! An amazing place with a steep hill out - great for sprints.
On the way home popped into 'Deep Clough' and ran that for an extra hill burst.

Above is an image from Google Earth, just of Deep Clough.
Picked up the pace on the way home, a steady up hill slog in boggy conditions - Loved it!

Watch says - 75 mins, Avg HR 137, Max HR 160, Cals 785 - 9 to 10 miles
20 miles over the weekend.
