Saturday 2nd October

After a full day of rain Friday, plus Friday evening this morning has been a lovely start to the weekend. Blue sky, light winds and a pleasent temperature.
About 9.00am went for our usual run with R and H, a bit damp and boggy in places under foot, but lovely. R ran from the bottom of Pothouse lane to the Top Rd, no problem.
Watch says - 43 mins, Avg HR 115, Max HR 137 Cals 337

After the run with the girls I had a quick drink then went for my run from Clough Head Car Park. Same run as last week. Ran hard over the first half, got to Alden Moor in 35 mins, round Alden Ratchers then after the waterfall, turned steep up hill, this lasted for a while, a tough drag to te top of Bull Hill. From the trig point here you have a good view of Peel Tower, probably a mile away from the trig. There seemed to be quite a decent track leading from the trig to the tower. I'll run this over 1/2 term. After checking out the views, returned the way I came. My favorite run by a mile at the moment.

Nick and Dave will love this run.

Watch says - 92 mins, Avg HR 149, Max HR 160, cals 1131!
